Dentistry Bites French Tradition
wes-connors23 December 2016
Uncle Bill (Brian Keith) leaves for San Francisco on a business trip, with a list of fine restaurants suggested by Mr. French (John Williams). Before departing, Bill gives permission for Mr. French's nephew to visit the Davis home. The young man is an exchange student from England, on his way to California. Bill thinks Martin Horsey (as David) might get along with Cissy (Kathy Garver), but French doesn't want the classes ("master" and "servant") mixing. Not only does David get along with Cissy, he also shocks French by revealing he's not going to be a "Gentleman's Gentleman" in the family tradition. David wants to be a dentist. Following a phone call, Ms. Garver shows some good acting skills. This episode ends with a letter from the original Mr. French. Now recovered, Sebastian Cabot will return next week.
