- Carl is working security at a television station where Buddy Goodrich, an actor, tapes a hit show that the rest of the Winslow family loves to watch. Carl asks him to move his car from a front of a fire lane, where he illegally parked, and finds out that the "real" Buddy Goodrich is rude and arrogant. Buddy assaults Carl, taking a swing at him. Carl arrests him. When his family finds out, they believe he was in the wrong and ignore him, and urges him to apologize to Buddy. It is only after Buddy Goodrich visits Carl at his home, unbeknownst to both of them, the rest of the Winslows overhear the conversation in which Buddy admits what he did and tries to bribe Carl, saying he will have have his assistant lie at the hearing, that the Winslow family sees him for the type of person he is. Buddy is thrown out of the house.—charmardee-smith
- Carl is doing security at the TV station where famous actor Buddy Goodrich is taping his TV show, that the rest of the Winslows are big fans. Upon asking Buddy for tickets to his live show, Carl tells Buddy he has to move his car out of a handicap parking space. Carl learns that the "real" Buddy Hoodrich unlike his TV persona is arrogant, selfish, and rude. Buddy assaults Carl twice, and on the 3rd try Carl arrests him. Buddy Goodrich makes out Carl to be a rogue policemen and falsely accuses him of manhandling him and starting the whole fight. When the other Winslows find out they're angry with Carl. It is only after Buddy Goodrich visits Carl"s home that the Winslow's learn the truth about Buddy, and that Carl was telling the truth.—charmardee-smith
- Working security at a television studio, Carl makes a simple request to actor Buddy Goodrich to move his parked car from a fire lane. Buddy is very rude and refuses to move the car. He presses his luck and is arrested when he tries to punch Carl. Carl thinks the matter is settled ... until the family learns about the arrest and won't talk to him. Later, Buddy shows up at the Winslows home in an attempt to bribe Carl with free tickets to his TV show, where again he runs his mouth off and lets slip the truth.
