Was this Family Matters?

Jaleel White was great as OGD, like he was great in every role he played. The problem is that this character was too out of sync with the show. Having him as Steve's cousin was even more off base. He did not fit the Urkel mold-and knowing this was the same guy that played Steve Urkel gave it all a weird dynamic. Carl clashes with OGD, and has a great lind: "Maybe if you didn't act like a criminal, you wouldn't be treated like one." Very true.

Original Gangsta Dawg (#9.10)

Warning: Spoilers
Urkel's gangster cousin from Detroit arrives at the Winslow home and has a conflict with Carl. Harriet reminds Carl that OGD didn't have a good childhood and they may try to influence him to be a better person.

Really didn't like the episode. While I liked the final scene of Carl and OGD as well as what Harriet said, I think they totally failed with their message otherwise. OGD didn't do anything wrong, absolutely nothing. So the attitude of the Winslows and Urkel just make them look like the nasty people of our society. Especially Carl, how he treated OGD from the start just shows that he is indeed one of those nasty cops OGD talked about that mistreat people based on looks/social status, because Harriet can't be there with him to give advice every day.

And it was great to see Missy Elliot but she couldn't save this episode.
