The knives were out now. Aaron had dropped the show from "his" ABC time slot. Columbia Pics TV really ran this episode way under pattern budget. Notice sound of hammering in "Bojangles and the Dancer" due to Columbia not wanting to bring Sammy back for ADR. Sammy Davis. What a wonderful guy... As long as you didn't tell him how to do his job. Really from the Frank Sinatra school of 1 take. Warned me not to develop more than one marketable talent. Who, unlike him with three (dancer, singer and personality)which is fine because I don't have any. Apparently sick during episode. Info that was used in the show. See one of the greats of the biz on this episode.

Warning: Spoilers
disclaimer, i was working on my Halloween costume and drinking a lot of beer during the watching of this episode, (the later is just normal) and i found it so so. I've been ranting a lot about the new Mr Belevedere episodes being about love and all that crap. This one kinda broke that mold but not so much in a good way. i question who was in charge for the 1984 season. SOmeone in love? Someone who likes love stories? who the hell knows, the ones i saw, and by no means all of the 1984 were love ones. maybe it was just a theme? When i first started watching the cozy TV reruns, i kept seeing the ones with that Bruce guy who guest starred in 7 of them. maybe that's it.

Anyhow the Bo Jangles was predictable. I remember hearing that song a long time ago. had no idea it was a real guy. Sammy Davis did a nice job playing him. Sammy Davis died the same day as Jim Henson in 1991 if i remember right. if i really remember right, that was the same day Magic Johnson said he had aids (i remember it seeming the world would end that day, all this and the Killer bee thing, was i right?) The sisters thing was pure torture.i just didn't care and never looked up as i crayoned and sharpied my henrak lunquist rager jersey for a Halloween Devils game. i actually eagerly went to my DVR and re watched the episode where the guy was under the curse of killing his wife at his 50th birthday. now there was an episode.

anyhow, not the best episode. typical here is your fantasy, but as you live it , you'll see someone who actually lives in that world needs/wants it more than you, or stupid woman want to be taken seriously and its stupid how they do that episode.
