Warning: Spoilers
This episode was 4-20. I got arrested once on a 4-20 meaning April 20. The cops were arguing the date and i was like 'its 4-20, Hitlers birthday, your little code for Pot violation" and they were like "no its not" and i was like "yes it is" and they were like "no its not.". Cops can be such jerks, but the one was cool when he clapped when i did my Pee Wee Herman Loner speech when he asked if i was a loner and clapped when i said the cop driving alongside us on the highway was probably waving at him.

Anyhow before i go in more embarrassing detail, the first story was about Mr Rourkes God daughter that called him Uncle but i think she was a god daughter. LIke the other story , tons of familiar faces in this episode. From the beginning i'm like, if shes the Goddaughter, and from Fantasy island, whats the bill for her fantasy of getting married, Is Rourke charging her? Is she just visiting? Why is her hair so stupid like todays Teens, it looks very Beiber-ized all combed to the front. THey used the term that she is the king of the Mcnabbs. Like Donovan, the semi good Eagles Quarter back that i am so old i remember him being drafted, killing my team for a long time, retireing and being retired forever? So she was a magician assistant, and the magician comes to fantasy island, Rourke is curt with him, he goes to a sorceress lady, who is Ray Romano's mom. who is there for some reason. She did a great acting job being a bitchy lady. She had a nice black cat too.So the God Daughter is still trying to hide her ability from her future husband but he kind of notices . then she tries to distract him by having a picnic with fried chicken, low cut shirt with perky boob s and nipples and him in his ugly members only jacket over a ugly paid shirt. the last part could be my life story but hes all like "how'd that guy reappear". I'm not sure if he figures it out totally and then they get married and Rourke gives the magician her powers to shut him up and i still cringe thinking of Ricardo Montebaums scenes with her. HEr boobs were always out there and he seemed like he wanted to grab them too. wrong chemistry.

Other story is a paleontologist whose Fantasy is to discover not the secret of life, but something based on what he thins is the secret of life, a race of silicone based life form that lived on earth 30 million years ago (or by his estimates when he find s one and spouts that out real quick). So Rouke shows him a map, showing what island has the Silicone veins he is looking for . Of course there is a Volcano, and unfriendly natives though none came into factor. The map was a LOL. I drew maps like that in 5th grade. So the couple drive and their car breaks down. the special Chryslter that Ricardo used to do commercials for, bad marketing .Then this other guy shows up from their past to help, guess he got a fantasy too. But it turns out he stole their last discovery and then he tries to kiss the gidget girl and practically rapes her, chases her til she falls in a hole that is a cave with a silicone monster . THe guy chasing her does what we would all do, yells down "ill get your boyfriend. " so he does, they all investigate like nothing happened, i'm surprised feminists didn't shut this episode down. So they realize the Silicone monster is un-killible, maybe some elements could kill him, they not sure, But then the monster shows up , kidnaps the lady, they try and shoot it with guns (groan) and then they shoot a tranquilizer i think and the monster falls into the lava (That they were standing in feet of , its hot and unrealistic) and he dies. as Tattoo so eloquently said ,"belongs to the fire that created it" like he has any idea how the world started.

Not much magic

In what could've been a much better episode, there were way too many familiar faces including Ann Jillian, Vic Tayback, Annette Funicello, Randolph Mantooth, Alex Cord, Doris Roberts, Carl Ballentine, and Elinor Donahue. Let me mention the somewhat good part first, and that revolves around an odd looking creature living under the island, even though it was obviously a guy in a suit. If you've read my past reviews regarding this show, then you know that I prefer the "darker" segments, and while the story in question wasn't that "dark", it did have a cheesy monster, and that has to count for something, right? That's about all I got, because most of the rest was either boring, or bordered on the sublime. Jillian plays Mr. Rourke's goddaughter, and it gets a tad annoying when she calls him "uncle", and their a little touchy feely with each other, in my opinion, and I also think they lacked chemistry. The segment she starred in was rather boring, and it revolved around magic, and perhaps the only saving grace was Ballantine's performance, as he was magician in real life. The other segment had decent moments with the monster, but there were also some silly parts too, such as when Cord's character sexually assaults Liz(Funicello), and nothing comes of it, considering he's the one that made her fall into a cave where the monster lives. The other head scratcher is when both men start throwing huge rocks at the monster while he's carrying Liz away, considering they could've hit her in the head also. As I said above, both stories were fairly original, but could've been written better, as they both failed to pack a punch.

Big Flop

Watched this episode because I'm a fan of Ann Jillian's, but this was a waste of time. The segment where Ann is shown to possess magical powers was like a bootleg version of "Bewitched," even having a Darrin-ish character as the husband-to-be. If you like that show, you might like this retelling of the story. As for me, it was extremely boring. And as stones78 said, Roarke and Ann's character were much too touchy-feely. The second segment was just as bad. It did give me "Creature from the Black Lagoon" vibes though, only this monster was in a volcano instead of a lagoon. The throwing rocks at the monster part was confusing to me too, as well as Annette's character's evident surprise when in the volcano, Randloph's character says he loves her. She acts like she's never heard him say that before, even though he called her the woman he loved when they were fixing the car. All in all, a very dull episode.
