If anyone ever reads this crap, i am in a fantasy island period of Tattoo and Mr Rourke never having some crappy conversation and sub plot. its refreshing . Other periods of my reviews in about 50 of the episodes i watched are the Mr Belvedere period (AKA stupid gagging love stories),
the very brief but memorable creepy, spider webs and cloth over the furniture abandoned house with bad memories episodes, and so forth. very happy with little tattoo.
The first story was about Bryan Holmes. i was like, thats my last name and i like the name Bryan, but only spelled Bryan cause i get yelled at by Brains for spelling their names like the skull part Brian. Anyhow he married some lady, she came to island wanting to know what happened to her dad. Then Rourke ships in via raft with two stupid looking guards and a warden , a prisoner, the very dad of this lady who is a murderer. Rourke is like , real cool and is like take the shackles of the guy and makes him his daughters sight seeing driver on the grounds he keeps quiet. In a great clip i took of fifteen seconds, the HOlmes fellow is on the phone with some hot chic, his evil girlfriend i guess and is like "the dad doesn't recognize me cause of my plastic surgery, like most people, and i am going to make it so they spend forever here, by death" and then the blond was like "what..how" and he basically had to spell it out he was killing them both. So he goes on a tour with dad and daughter and then asks dad, "hey can we hike back to the hotel, how long" and dad is like a few hours and hes like thats cool and the girl leaves, i guess to drive the car back. They should have made an ad about how easy it was to drive the fantasy island car cause Mr Rourke was a spokesman. Anyhow he pushes the dad in to the quicksand but dad survives somehow, ( may have been explained but as episodes go, beer is involved) and then the guy tries the same with daughter , all this crap happens ,bad guy is in quicksand, all is forgiven.
Second story . Jerry Van Dyke ( i like dick better) and his wife come to island for one of their fantasy's, not sure whose but ill assume his. he wanted to go back to when he first got married for nostalgia sake. but he forgot about his neighbors , (who happened to turn out to be swingers which was obvious, and his boss), and the fact he lived with his Aunt Bella ( my grandpa would cringe like death, when i mentioned how his mother in law had to live with him from 1977-1979 and he was a supreme example of a loving Christian ). So boss is trying to seduce wife, gets her to a swingers meeting which i guess fantasy island now hosts, is rejected , punches ensue but guys like "thats cool , i deserve it" (as he says in front of like 30 swinger couples ,thats 30 chicks he can get with . real realistic). Fun parts of this segment was the wife bending over to get the pie with him hitting on her (bending over, pie lol beavis and butt head-ish i know) and someone going "hes got shorts on" when he gets in the hot tub, with his wife, boss , bosses wife.
