Warning: Spoilers
While heading towards a planet where they hope to plant Zhaan so that she can heal Pilot alerts Crichton to the presence of a wormhole. Before he has chance to fully register what he is seeing a ship emerges; Pilot tries to star burst away but isn't fast enough to avoid a collision. The alien ship crashes into Moya and the two ships are stuck together within the boundary of the wormhole. Aliens, from the other ship, come aboard and it becomes apparent that they have mastered wormhole technology. With Moya seriously injured Pilot is unable to function as the others work to figure out a way to separate the two ships. While working in the cargo bay Rygel opens the pod the rescued from the hospital planet; it contains an alien woman named Jool who is less than pleased when she learns that her cousin was sacrificed to help treat Crichton. If that wasn't enough; a strange serpent like creature is aboard Moya; the aliens say it is a creature that dwells in wormholes and that it is almost certainly unaware of Moya or those aboard her... its actions suggest otherwise though.

This was a good opening to a two-part story; the action started immediately and didn't let up until the end. It also introduced two new alien races; the unnamed race aboard the wormhole research vessel Moya collided with and the Interions, technically the latter have been seen before but Jool is the first one to do anything other than die! While there is plenty of action to enjoy that doesn't mean that this episode lacks any emotional moments; D'Argo hasn't got over what Chiana and Jothee did, Zhaan is still dying and it now looks as though Pilot and Moya will be lost in the wormhole. The episode ends with Crichton is severe danger once again which should leave most viewers keen to watch the next instalment!
