Sisters Bertrille and Jacqueline overhear an irate woman named Rose Dolan (Norma Crane) arguing with her parrot Junior (voiced by the great Mel Blanc). They agree to take the bird for its own well-being, but have trouble finding it a home. When they are forced to hide it at the convent, the parrot causes problems with its foul mouth. Reverend Mother Placido insists the bird must go and Sister Bertrille talks Carlos into taking it. When the parrot destroys Carlos' romantic evening it flies away with Rose now wanting her bird back.
