- Dr. Richard Kimble: [Act I Opening Narration. Viewers see Richard Kimble riding in a pickup truck, having hitched a ride. In response to a comment from the truck driver, Kimble says] I don't like to stay in one place too long.
- Narrator: Never in one place too long. That's the first rule for a Fugitive. Always keep running. Always with the nightmare fear that, one day, the chase will catch up with him. One day - perhaps now.
- Narrator: [Epilog Closing Narration. Viewers see Richard Kimble, having escaped, walking along a road beside a creek] Another path, another road. Roads that twist and wind and lead nowhere. Richard Kimble - Fugitive.
- Dave Simmons: You the one they call Doc?
- Dr. Richard Kimble: Yeah, but that's a nickname. I used to drive an ambulance.
- Dr. Richard Kimble: Don't you want to know how he is? Or don't you see anything in this bed but sable and mink?
- Helen Simmons: Well now don't blame this on me. It was Ralph's idea. A girl has to do what her husband says.
- Dr. Richard Kimble: You mean you're married?
- Helen Simmons: Well of course I am. What do you think I am?
- Jimmie: Why won't you come with me?
- Dr. Richard Kimble: You don't need me, Jimmie.
- Jimmie: Will I ever see you again?
- Dr. Richard Kimble: Yeah, sure you will.
- Sheriff: Jimmie, this doctor, the one who brought you here. We can't find him.
- Mr. Franklin: What about the migrant camp?
- Sheriff: We checked. The name used there was a false one. He's disappeared, son. Can you tell us anything about him? His name?
