Kimble makes an anonymous call from the airport to try to get in contact with Lt. Gerard. Upon placing the call a shot of a building identified by large letters on both sides which reads Indiana State Police Post is shown. Sergeant Endicot of the Indiana State Police tells Kimble "Yes this is Lieutenant Gerard's office but he's not here". Lt. Gerard has never worked for the Indiana State Police. He is a detective for the Stratford Indiana police department.
Brame pretends to fly to London out of an airport in the Poconos. Brame is then shown walking into a hanger in that airport in the Poconos. But the mountains in the background are clearly NOT the Poconos. The Poconos are in Northeastern Pennsylvania, which get an ample amount of rain, thereby ensuring that they are covered by hardwood forests. The mountains behind Brame are rocky and barren, sort of like the ones in Southern California or Nevada, which is undoubtedly where this program was filmed (NOT Pennsylvania).
Gerard takes a shot at Brame, but hits a large pipe instead. The pipe then springs a leak. BUT Gerard uses a .38 snub nose revolver, which could NOT and would NOT be able to piece this heavy piping. Perhaps the director thought it would be more dramatic for the pipe to spring a leak and leak out steam during this gun play.
Officer Robinson tells Gerard that they can get from Brame's home in the Poconos to his plant in Pittsburgh in "a couple of hours". In real life, Pittsburgh is about 300 miles from the Poconos, and the drive would take about five hours, not two.
