There are guests on the way and the girls will have to sleep together to accommodate them so they remember other times they had to sleep together. This includes the night the heater was broken and they all crawled under Sophia's sleeping blanket, the time Rose was afraid and slept with Blanche, the night Sophia and Dorothy slept together because they were sick and the time Dorothy, Rose and Blanche spend the night in a train station waiting for a train to Miami.

Some funny flashbacks with a theme of sleeping together. My favorite was the first one when they all tried to sleep together. Especially when Sophia says she will do what she wants in her bed and Rose getting an answer to her prayer.

Not a flashback episode, this is filled with newly filmed segments that surround the crisis of family visiting from out of town and not giving them enough space. They crowd in Sophia's bed on a cold Miami night in one memory sketch, then Rose panics during a thunderstorm over escaped prisoners from a Georgia prison. An ailing Dorothy is nursed humorously by her mother. Stranded in the sticks, Dorothy, Rose and Blanche sleep on wooden benches in a remote train station and deal with sudden arrivals (one of whom had a big floppy pancreas). In the present, they deal with Sophia's Italian cooking and make fun of Rose's Beetle Bailey like chipped beef which ends up in a funny hiding place. The lack of a real plot doesn't matter much as the individual unconnected segments are very well written even with a few inconsistencies.

I agree with the other reviewer from 2015 who called their review "episode error". Have the California based writers ever actually been to Miami or South Florida? Seriously, there would never be a cold snap so extreme for the ladies huddled together in bed, an electric blanket, and Blanche's fur lined parka. And how could Rose have accidentally made the AC come on? Wouldn't that be controlled on a thermostat?

And yes, the Christmas Eve snow in another episode was ridiculous. My husband and I just laugh and say the show is set in Miami, California. Even the exterior shot of their house is in California; note the tall skinny palm tree in the back. I'm surprised they haven't slipped and shown us those Florida mountains, LOL.

Finally, Blanche's southern accent is horrible. I've lived in the South my whole life and never met anyone who spoke like that.
