Quotes

  • Billy Harlan : [a large snake is coiled up on one of the bunk beds and the boys are panicking]  Grab one end!

Colin : [shrieking]  Of the SNAKE?

  • Billy Harlan : [Whilst examining Mike's bunk]  There aren't any blankets on his bed...

Colin : [laughing jokingly]  He probably ate 'em! Ahaha, ate 'em!

  • Billy Harlan : What's that, Uncle Al?

[points in the direction of what appears to be a moldy old shack nestled away in the trees]

Uncle Al : [ominously]  ... The Forbidden Bunk.

Jay : Why's it called the Forbidden Bunk?

Uncle Al : [Sarcastic]  Because it's FORBIDDEN! So stay clear!

  • Roger : [about the boys' bunk]  Ewww, I'm supposed to sleep in here?

Mike : Who's gonna sleep, anyway? We're gonna stay up all night!

[turns up his portable radio to let some Nineties rap music drift through the bunk]

Billy Harlan : Whether we like it or not!

  • Jay : Don't tell me our #1 camper is chicken!

[tucks his arms under his shoulders and makes weird chicken noises at Billy]

    Billy Harlan : I'm not, I just...

Roger : Hey, our camper #1's afraid of doing a number 2...

Billy Harlan : Knock it off! I just don't think it's a good idea.

  • Uncle Al : Hey, what's your name, son?

    Billy Harlan : Billy.

Uncle Al : You were talking during the camp song, Billy. Now, that's not allowed here. What's so important?

Billy Harlan : Mike's arm is all swollen up. I think he should see a doctor.

    Uncle Al : A doctor?

Mike : A snake bit me.

Uncle Al : Who's your counselor, son?

    Mike : Larry.

Uncle Al : [turns to Larry]  Larry, why wasn't I told about this?

    [to Mike]

Uncle Al : Let me see that, son.

[takes a look at his arm]

    Mike : Ow!

Uncle Al : Good! That's good! You still have feeling in it.

Mike : But it really hurts.

Uncle Al : I know, i know, I've been running this camp for twenty three years and I've seen all sorts of bites. This is really nothing to worry about.

    Larry : Told you wimp.

Uncle Al : I promise you, the swelling, and the pain will be gone by morning.
