- TriviaDuring rehearsals for this episode, Lucille Ball experimented with several different types of bags before she found the right one that would make the exploding sound when she popped it.
- GoofsAt the end, when Lucy and Ethel go to see the men, who are behind bars, Lucy first kisses Ricky, then Ethel steps up to kiss Fred. Their lips/faces very clearly never get close enough to actually kiss. It's well-known that the two actors, Vivian Vance and William Frawley, couldn't stand each other.
- Quotes
Fred Mertz: Rick, did I ever tell you what happened to Ethel and me on our honeymoon?
Ricky Ricardo: [with a touch of sarcasm] Not lately.
Fred Mertz: Oh. Did I tell you, Lucy?
Lucy Ricardo: Yes.
Ethel Mertz: [Fred turns toward Ethel] I was there!

As a woman, I find the episode amusing. Of course Lucy and Ethel want to be treated like men and it's not all it's cracked up to be. I am not offended because the episode is not trying to prove a point it's Entertainment husbands versus wives. In a way, both genders got even that's the point. The guys got the girls and the girls got the guys, it evened out.
