In this another tense and thrilling chapter of 'The Invaders' David Vincent arrives to investigate mysterious car accident, where the driver of chemical truck is missing and newly wedded couple is suffocated to death in open air. Vincent gets his hands on solid evidence to prove the presence of the Invaders on Earth. He contacts journalist Theodore Booth (energetic Burgess Meredith) who doesn't need much persuasion to help out Vincent. Aliens kidnap Vincent's skeptic brother Bob to keep him publishing the truth about the invasion. Race against the clock starts.
By this episode David Vincent (and also the viewer) have learned a lot about the aliens and their intentions, so it is very easy to feel powerless anger towards the aliens. Especially when we see one of them explaining their plans on the screen. Again, one of those episodes which ending gives restless and helpless feeling. Powerful episode.
P.S. The young wife is played by Peggy Lipton in one of her earliest roles.
