There is an exchange while the SEALs and Lt. Cmdr. Rabb are flying into Columbia in which Lieutenant Alexander Kellogue and Chief Petty Officer Shipp say to each other "Who said 'I will fight no more, forever'?", "I don't know Sir", and "I don't know either, but whoever it was, it wasn't a SEAL." The actual quote was said by Chief Joseph, a Nez Perce chief, was "From where the sun now stands I will fight no more forever." in his surrender speech to General Howard.
When Meg explains the teams left in Blackhawks but you can plainly see they left in Bell UH-1 (Huey) helicopters.
Lt. Commander Rabb says the drug cartel plane has an improvised AWACS system on board to help them evade the Coast Guard and Navy patrol and intercept planes. AWACS stands for Airborne Warning And Control System, which is an airborne radar system designed to detect aircraft, ships, vehicles and missiles that would otherwise be hard, or sometimes impossible, to spot using conventional fixed-position radar towers. By having their own mobile radar plane the cartel would be able to easily avoid military aircraft, although the plane the cartel was using has no radar dome, which would make its range very limited. Boeing produces the AWACS used by the U.S. military in the form of a specially modified 707 called the Boeing E-3 Sentry, which carries a large rotating radar dome on the dorsal part of the fuselage, just in front of the tail. The E-3 acts as both a sentry plane and a command and control station in the event of aerial combat; the newest version of the AWACS system used on the E-3 uses a pulse-Doppler radar system allowing it to easily spot low flying aircraft over both land and water.
