Don't go fishing off the company pier.

Mac's previous affair with her mentor - who was a married colonel (back in Okinawa) - comes back to bite her in the bum. Plus, it turns out that she was actually married years ago (even more years ago than the Farrow indiscretion!) and had "forgotten" about this small, significant fact of her life before "JAG". Along with the other, insignificant, fact of her life before JAG...

The production dynamics here are creative for this episode. Having Harm and Mic as joint defence counsel, defending Mac and John Farrow, sets up some interesting "exchanges of opinion" on defensive tactics and strategy, but eventually Theodore Lindsey's prosecution is defeated (frankly, would the script-writers have had it any other way?).

Harm helps his partner, so that everyone ends up with a happy outcome (apart from the dead ex-husband).

Harm gets to find some form of closure with Congresswoman Bobbi Latham after the events in the preceding episode "Mr Rabb goes to Washington". Bobbi is happy to relegate their relationship (on her terms) to "friends". Personally, I thought there was plenty of mileage left in the "Congresswoman and good-looking Naval flying lawyer" - but maybe I am biased!. Ah well, that is why we have fan-fiction.

An early episode in the Sarah Soap Opera
mts433 December 2021
As the series progressed, one lost count of the number of guys that Sarah shacked up with. The conclusion to this so-called murder mystery was so obvious and so lame. The episode also introduces Brumby, an obnoxious unappealing character who should have disappeared to Australia years before he did.

One Really Stupid Woman!!!!!!!

Warning: Spoilers
I'll already say it, this contains spoilers.

When Mac was first on the show, I thought that finally a female character that was smart and good looking. It is getting so that from episode to episode her opinions flip back and forth. This one tops the cake. She admits that she didn't love him. She gets married while drunk, stays married, husband gets thrown into prison (any judge would have given her a divorce then and there). She never gets a divorce. Has an affair with her commanding officer knowing it was against regulations. When husband comes back, she doesn't file for a divorce or an annulement. Then she keeps seeing him. If I needed a lawyer, she would be the last one I would hire.

Interesting episode but the lies made no sense.

Warning: Spoilers
I thought the episode was an interesting look at Mac's past relationships but ultimately I don't understand why Mac and Colonel Farrow both lied. At the end the truth comes out and it turns out they did nothing criminal, I understand at the beginning they lied to possibly keep their relationship hidden but even after that was exposed they still kept lying. The lying made no sense because the lies would have of got one of them landed in prison whereas telling the truth would of cleared them of any wrong doing which completely made no sense to me. Other than the lying part it was an interesting episode which is why I give it a 5.
