- When a sick passenger arrives on the stage, Slim and Jess try to help him but are surprised when he is a she. On top of that she is looking for Jess who wants nothing to do with her as her family are all outlaws but Slim thinks otherwise.
- When the west bound stage arrives, the driver tells Slim he has a very sick passenger who has slowed them down. Slim and then Jess help carry the sick passenger inside while the driver changes horses and decides to leave. With the passenger passed out, Slim starts to unbutton his shirt but then removes his hat to discover he is a she. He calls Jess who upon recognizing her pours water on her face. Troy McCanles has set her cap for Jess Harper and has shown up at the ranch to pickup where they left off in Texas, much to Slim Sherman's amusement. Jess wants nothing to do with Troy, seeing as her and her outlaw family nearly got him lynched in Laredo. Troy hasn't quite shaken loose of her outlaw family either, as she promised Jess. They've followed her to Laramie and are determined to make trouble for her. When Slim falls for Troy, he has no idea about her outlaw past until she admits all to him. But blood is thicker than water as Slim finds out.—DarSpi
