This Laramie episode finds Robert Fuller riding shotgun on a payroll with
driver Frank Ferguson. The passengers are Mary Murphy saloon singer, army wife
Lori Nelson, and whiskey drummer Willard Waterman. The stagecoach is taking
an old route through the desert.
What Fuller doesn't know is that Ferguson is in league with the robbers led by Gregory Walcott. Walcott and his crew strip them of horses, food, and water and the idea is to starve and die of thirst. Including Ferguson.
But these outlaws have no honor themselves. One by one aided by some of Waterman's samples they start falling out. All the others have to do is follow a nice trail of bodies.
This is one of the best Laramie episodes the ensemble cast is first rate. You'll remember this one and it will haunt you.
