- Detectives Cerreta and Logan investigate the shooting death of Manuel and Natalie Ortega who were having dinner in a restaurant with their young daughter. It has all of the hallmarks of a mob-style killing but everyone who knew Manuel insists that he was clean. It turns out however he may have eliminated a member of the Columbian drug cartel and his killing was retaliation. The weapon Manuel used was rare and the police track down the man who sold it to him. Cerreta poses as a buyer but it all goes wrong and he is severely injured. With the gun dealer under arrest, they are able to apprehend the Columbian hit man who killed the Ortegas. ADA Stone has to decide if he wants to give the dealer immunity in exchange for his testimony. The Columbian assassin meanwhile claims to be someone else.—garykmcd
