  David Pera : Twenty-fourth century weapon... Light - essential in a hand weapon. What's it shoot?

  Logan : A beam of amplified light - it has a three-way adjustment to stun, blast or kill.

  Rem : The logical judge is the best judge, Miss Mackie.

  David Pera : I don't want a machine to be my executioner.

• Logan : From here on, the decisions are yours. Sylvia was right about one thing - we don't belong here. This is your court; she is part of your world. Whatever verdict you reach¸ the reasonability will be yours.

  Rem : Merely an aftershock.

  Logan : Are you sure?

  [earthquake stops] 

  Rem : Now I am.

• Jessica : And you were the people who were going to build a new world. Well, you're nothing but killers! None of you deserve to live.

  Logan : Take it easy, Jessica.

  Dexter Kim : We're not all guilty.

  Jessica : Yes you are! Oh, go on give them the serum. They'll fight like animals to get their share. Well, if this is the best science can do, who needs them!
