So our people are looking for Mallory's nephew. We start in Aruba. Jimmie Walker immediately loses his mind (He functioned better as a ghost.) Apparently, their strategy is to just ask around Aruba. That'll work. They're being followed by a mysterious stranger. Gopher is almost killed. Mallory isn't in Aruba, but he might be in Martinque. Bart Braverman is in Julie's bed! Uh-oh! Vicki wants to know if Captain Stubing will take the job offer. The Captain and Doc have a heart-to-heart. I enjoyed Walter Slezak's little part. Then it's on to BlueBeard's Castle in St. Thomas. Will Vicki get a college education? Stay tuned for Captain Stubing's big decision. Peter Lupus was 48 here - still in incredible shape! I wanted to like this double-length episode, but I'm afraid it presages a lot of the travel episodes to come. On Kafka's Love Boat Scale, this double-length episode gets 2 1/2 * out of a possible 4 *.
