Potter has a week off in Tokyo with Mrs Potter . On his trip he promises he will get Hawkeye his nudie magazines and Klinger some dress material ( actually Mrs. Potter gets both assignments!) . In the meantime Radar is looking after Sophie, Potter's horse and Margaret may need her appendix removed ( and she wants Hawkeye for the job not Burns ). When Hawkeye insist on an informal exam and gives the usual Hawkeye suggestiveness Margaret make a comment about why must such skilled hands be attached to a filthy mind reminding me of Salari wondering why Amadeus got all the talent and skill despite his vulgarities! So funny! Sophie has trouble with her insides too and BJ calls his father in law in Quawpaw Oklahoma.as Hawkeye said of course Quawpaw ! A gas station , a grocery store and and a fashionable restaurant called Eats ! Radar patches the call through and BJ talks to his father in law ( calling him Pa ) sounds like a nice man. He gives BJ instructions ( horse is colicky and needs cleaning out) . Nearly everyone in camp pitched in and it's a success it's also a triumphant , good felling.

Potter returns just in time for the appendectomy .Frank goes wild ! But is kicked out. The episode ends with Hawkeye, Margaret, Potter and Sophie are strolling through camp to get some needed exercise .

Potter's excited about spending a few days in Tokyo with his wife Mildred, and he's so excited he sings "My Chinatown, my Chinatown". Potter should have known better, Tokyo isn't the same as China. It's like if Potter had sung "My Germantown, my Germantown" whilst heading off to Paris.

Anyway, there's two medical dramas in this episode. Margaret's appendix removal, and Sophie suffering a breakdown.
