- Bret Maverick: [narrating] It was a typically invigorating San Francisco night. Someone once said that if it was thick enough, you could lean on a San Francisco fog. But, obviously, that wasn't true. As for myself, I was having no trouble at all.
- Bret Maverick: Where'd you get this stuff?
- Angelita: Oh, some we find, some we buy.
- Bret Maverick: And all you steal.
- Ellen Johnson: How many times have I missed an appointment with you?
- Bret Maverick: There was three times last week alone.
