One of the better ones so far.

Warning: Spoilers
While I genuinely enjoy this series, some are definitely better than others!

Starts out 4 people on a stage coach stop at a way station and encounter Johnny Balero (not a very convincing Mexican disguise to say the least!) and an angry Bart Maverick who had his horse stolen by Balero. Said horse is injured so they join up with the stage riders.

The coach is soon ambushed by what appear to be Apaches so the group takes cover in an abandoned adobe ruin. All is not as it appears and it turns out the 'Apaches' are actually Mexican bandits after some money that one of the passengers has. I won't ruin the plot any more than that but I will say it is a fairly gripping little drama. Very enjoyable!

Maverick: The Burning Sky

Warning: Spoilers
Bart is a passenger on a stagecoach wrecked by Mexican bandits. They are in the Arizona desert, and it is hot. They run out of water. The bandits want money taken out of Mexico by Whitney Blake as Letty French. Gerald Mohr is Ballero, a Mexican trying to get next to Letty. Bart intervenes and punches Ballero because he took his horse. The passengers take refuge from the bandits in a ruin, and Bart looks up at the blazing sun. It will go to 110 degrees or hotter. We see a Joshua tree, a symbol of the desert. Letty was a dance hall girl in Mexico City, and there is a lot of drama. Bart devises an explosive, which seems to magically kill the bandits. Bart and Ballero ride off together.

Stranded in the desert
bkoganbing16 August 2018
This episode has Bart Maverick along with five other people stranded in the desert after their stagecoach overturned with damn little water and besieged in an adobe ruin by some Mexican bandits. As they have a Mexican bandit among the stranded in the person of Gerald Mohr he tells Jack Kelly and the others what those bandits want.

Turns out that saloon entertainer Whitney Blake is carrying a large amount of money for a family forced out of Mexico when the Juaristas came back. As they probably would have been killed anyway it's a good idea to fight.

It looks bad for Jack Kelly and the others who also include Philip Terry, Douglas Kennedy and Joanna Barnes. No food little water and no shelter from the blazing sun.

How do they get out of it? I will say Jack Kelly being the gambler he is pulls a real Hail Mary move. You have to see it to believe it?
