I haven't seen this episode in 20 years at least, but I remember it vividly. At the time (1998) the internet was in existence but it wasn't EVERYWHERE like it is now and the idea of a killer utilizing a countdown of sorts to execute someone was amazing. I remember thinking "is this even possible, how does someone add a counter to a webpage???" It prompted me to research HTML and try to understand it. I don't remember how it ended or what our hero Frank Black did or didn't do, I just remember how unbelievable it was that the internet, which up to that point I'd only used for ESPN, could be used like this. Why doesn't any streaming service put this show on? Every streaming service is littered with junk!
