Old Mother Murphy lived in a cloud...
mark.waltz19 December 2022
Warning: Spoilers
A much better storyline than how it sounds, it has Murphy taking on a gaggle of mothers whom Eldin has met in the park, not relating to them in the least, and finding them instantly cynical against her, have been bonded with the more motherly painter/nanny. The younger the mother the more neurotic they are, although the more mature ones are even more judgmental. Basically Murphy treats them as a guy would, walking down the street, confronted by a mass of them blocking the sidewalk and acting as if they own it. To see another woman living this perspective rather than what the mommy mob thrives on adds great humor to the situation. I had feared with Murphy having a baby, that would take her out of the office, but that isn't the case. And I had a very good laugh with Murphy's rendition of "The wheels on the bus" which seems to be from experience I've had every new mother's choice of song to sing to their baby in a group in public regardless of the setting.
