Even loving marriages have rocky paths.

It seems to be the end of the road for Corky and will after the premiere of the movie version of his first novel which everyone seems to hate but no one has the courage to tell how they really feel. Will doesn't really care at that point because he's being sued by another author for plagiarism, so in court on the stand, Corky reads the diary that she kept during Will's time riding the book which reveals the facts about how he came up with the story. But his being saved by her doesn't necessarily bode well for the marriage which has left Corky feeling lonely as he is away more and more, and they must come to terms with the fact that their relationship has taken a different turn even though they are still in love. It's a very good episode for Faith Ford, very sweet in nature and more character driven and dramatic than funny. There is a very laugh out loud moment where Murphy says she'll never give advice again and The newsroom erupts in applause. It's very funny also to see the expressions on the new staffs faces as they hear Corky read what she wrote about them. All in all quite a good episode, filled with award worthy performances by the supporting cast.
