GOING TO A DANCE... WITH YOUR DAD?
tcchelsey27 December 2023
Another one of those embarrassing episodes all of us kids could relate to. You have to bring a parent with you, remember? In this case, it's a dance with an "old fashion" theme, and lucky guy Chip brings along Steve.

You just have to watch this all unfold, and catch the nervous expressions here... and what happens next. You can tell, though, the cast was having a good time behind the scenes. There's also a kind of 60s sentimental slant to it all.

Chips date is played by popular child actress Susan Gordon, in what would be her very last tv role. Susan's famous dad, sci fi producer Bert I. Gordon, passed recently at age 100, and even outlived his daughter.

Look for Mary LaRoche as Steve's date, playing Susan's mother. Mary was in the famous "talking doll" episode of the TWILIGHT ZONE. Applause for Marcia Mae Jones, famous 30s child actress, who plays Vera. James V. Kern is partly credited for directing this episode, who passed before it was released.

One to catch for the old days. From SEASON 7, restored color EPISODE 23.
