Another alumnus from Hill Street Blues makes an appearance as Clark, Sr., who has a checkered past with Sipowicz. His son is the newest member of the 15th precinct after showing his mettle in this episode. Two interesting plot lines. One is a guy Rodriquez put away eight years ago who attacks his mother, nearly killing her. The second is the deaths of seemingly random people near NYU. Andy gets a reward for his actions though Clark,Sr. Is really annoyed by it.
