Greta (Patricia Harty) wants Peter (Michael Callan) to buy her extra art lessons, but he refuses. She goes to the soon-to-be-opened Bellfield General Employment Agency to find a job from Mr. Gordon Bellfield (busy Canadian character actor Lloyd Bochner). He hires her as his own secretary. Peter's boss Mr. Brahms (Jack Collins) asks Peter and his manipulative office rival Wally Frick (Jack Riley) to help entertain one of their top distributors who is in town. Peter uses his fake wife's (Greta) fake fainting spells to get out of it and takes his girlfriend Marilyn (Chris Noel) to dinner. She is upset that Peter doesn't have tickets to a big show that he promised and also can't get into a nice restaurant. Greta arrives with Mr. Bellfield who is able to get them in and the four have dinner together. Things quickly take a turn for the couples.
As with most episodes to this point in the series, it struggles to sustain flow and body in its plot.
