Not Much to Write About
Hitchcoc20 May 2014
The problem with this episode is that there is little if any suspense. It seems obvious that the Captain has already been hung out to dry. It starts on board a space station where we watch three people die in odd ways. One thinks he sees his son and follows him out a hatch, leaving him floating in space. The second is a man who believes he is seeing his lover and she kills him with acid he thinks is red wine. The third is a visit from someone who was convicted on evidence from the victim. She shoots at him and starts a massive fire on board. The captain grabs the space psychologist and exits the station in an escape pod. Now we are on Earth and he is being prosecuted for causing the deaths of the three crew members. Since there are no witnesses, everything is based on speculation. However, it is a military court, so the usual rules don't apply. I believe to have a solid story, there has to be some hopefulness for your protagonist. This doesn't seem to be the case. Also, the episode falls back on some of the same tired stuff they have done before. A pretty forgettable offering.

What a waste of talent

Wow, great talent, why couldnt they have given them more to work with? The actors and director get all the stars for this one. They obviously did the best they could with bad writing and plot development. Bet the Van Peeples were doing someone a favor!
