As we revisit this series from almost thirty years ago, it's easy to see the writers were quickly losing momentum on how to make this novel concept into sensible stories for every episode.
This story was the second one about a gang putting pressure on small business, although the first one was a protection racket, and this one was to gain control of the business. The story itself is banal and weak.
HOWEVER, there were a number of clever and amusing scenes as the "Outlaws" became taxi drivers and some dialogue among each other back at the ranch. The ending was especially nice, and should have been saved for the last broadcast episode.
We enjoyed this.
