Poorly thought-out plotting
VetteRanger21 February 2023
You can enjoy the action and the machismo in this episode, but it's impossible to overlook the thoughtless plotting.

Our five heroes have come to the end of their financial ropes, as evidently by buying the ranch and vehicles and horses and such, they've worked their way through the $500K their initial load of Golden Eagle coins brought them.

Let's overlook the question of how they have a mortgage on the ranch when they bought it with no visible means of support. (Or maybe not LOL).

So they go to dig up some long-buried treasure, and it happens to be on a construction site where the wealthy developer, who has cut corners in the past, is suspected of doing so again ... and winds up getting their "buried treasure".

So what do they do? Ride into his estate and steal the strongbox. Sure. Then they kidnap him and force him into a duel ... or sign a confession.

None of this fantasy would stand up against the certain criminal charges to be brought, and that doesn't even cover their assault of security guards on the construction grounds. LOL

There's an AWFUL lot to overlook here to keep from rolling your eyes.
