Parker Lewis Can't Lose (even when he tries)
vex86bird23 June 2007
This episode reminds me of the movie, "Brewster's Millions". When Parker decided to throw the election at Santo Domingo losing support from the students is a lot harder than he originally thought. Every thing it seems that Parker does garners even more of a following and his lead in the polls against Becky only increases. I laughed throughout as in classical political fashion even something negative can be spun to look good. The ending was a little bland, but otherwise the rest of the episode is super funny. A lot of the jokes in the episode are funny (although dated) as well. As the posters for Parker's campaign scroll you see such posters as "Parker knows Democracy","Parker knows Flamingos", and lastly "Parker knows Bo". It's the little laughs that make Parker Lewis a classic ;)

Can Parker Lewis Lose
safenoe24 January 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Kim Valentine stars as Becky Grant, who in a way reminds me of Tracy Flick from the 1999 movie, Election. Anyway, in Parker Lewis Must Lose, an episode from season one, we see Becky determined to be the class president, with Parker being unwittingly drawn in as a candidate. However, he is determined to lose because he knows Tracy, I mean Becky, has her heart set on being a student political leader and who knows what lies beyond.

It's incredibly nostalgic re-watching Parker Lewis Can't Lose and it was ahead of its time. It's a shame it ran for only three seasons. In the final election result, Parker was beaten by Johnny Depp and Bart Simpson, which are references to Depp's role in 21 Jump Street, and of course The Simpsons, both shows being broadcast on the same network as Parker Lewis Can't Lose.
