I've never actually watched this; I was 10 when Playhouse 90 aired this, and I guess I saw the promos that mentioned "unwed mothers". I was wildly curious about how this could be, and I really wanted to watch it, but my parents sent me to my room. I kept sneaking in behind furniture to catch a peak. I didn't really understand the "facts of life" until I was secretly told by cousins when I was 13 or 14.
