A Case for the Right
Prismark1028 June 2023
A title with a double meaning. The action starts in London as Harry Rule has a briefcase handcuffed to him and he needs to transport it to Rome and deliver the case to Prince Carpiano (Milo O'Shea.)

Right from the off a couple of sinister men are onto Harry. When Harry and Contessa Caroline di Contini arrive in Rome, they find that the case contained a bomb and Harry was intended to be eliminated.

Harry and Contessa Caroline were meant to be decoys. Another courier delivered a valuable briefcase to Prince Carpiano. When they infiltrate a secret party where Prince Carpiano gives a speech. It becomes clear that Carpiano heads a fascist organisation and is planning a coup.

Nice story but some of the action was badly staged and some of it was inept. When Harry is trying to deal with the bomb in the briefcase. Contessa Caroline is needlessly shouting and banging on the door, more likely to put Harry off!
