I like the story of Michael and child custody. It just angers me how everyone is against him. This whole "the child belongs with it's mother", is BS! A man should have as much right, and it is not like Michael is trying to take the child away. He wants a JOINT custody and everyone is acting as if he wants to take the child away but doesn't see that this is exactly what Mel and Lindsay are doing to him. The sad thing is that I am sure he will lose because the society still believes that men should not have a right to be a father.

I am also sad about Ted, a pretty depressing story of trying to make him look as too old to enjoy life.

I am looking forward to what will be with Emmett and the news.

Ted's new look...

Episode 502 "Age is the last trick that any of us picks up… the problem is, after it *beeps* us it doesn't leave." ~Man

Hairstyles are the first things I notice toward the beginning of every season. It's always great to see what new looks each of the characters will have, unless there is some miraculous case of continuity (which rarely happens season-to-season, hairstyle-wise.) After season five episode one, I have to admit that I was pretty underwhelmed with the hairstyles. Brian's and Justin's? Absolutely perfect. But Melanie and Lindsay? Melanie's wasn't terrible, but I've seen much better, especially in season three (the best year for hair on this show); however, it is Lindsay's hair that looked horrendous. I'm liking Ted's new hairstyle, and what bothered me about the hairstyles the first episode is now slowly starting to fade. After only two episodes of season five, they are already starting to grow on me. The introduction of the "Queer Guy" storyline for Emmett was actually pretty hilarious. Peter Paige and Scott Lowell have such great chemistry together—it's kind of a shame that the Temmett relationship ended. With Michael's pursuit of Jenny Rebecca, it's hard to take sides. Melanie and Lindsay deserve to have the baby the most, although I can really see where Michael is coming from. And Debbie not taking Michael's side for a change was a welcome surprise. Overall another spectacular episode. I can probably predict already that I'm going to be one of the few that really liked season five.
