Could the amiable and cheerful Toby Yeager (Chuck Connors) be guilty of attempted murder?
FloridaFred22 April 2019
Intriguing episode, with Chuck Connors as "Toby Yeager", a cheerful man who sings and strums a guitar.

Vint Bonner (actor John Payne) and Yeager are sitting by a campfire; they sing a duet. Bonner is embarrassed, because Toby Yeager is quite the singer, but Vint Bonner can't carry a tune (which is amusing, because in real life actor John Payne sang in a number of musical productions).

Vint later gets word that a burglar who shot Homer Danfield was singing a song titled "Silver Threads Among the Gold", while he rifled through Danfield's belongings. Yeager had sung that exact same song while sitting by the campfire with Bonner.

Could the amiable and cheerful Toby Yeager be guilty of robbery and attempted murder?

One item of interest: Chuck Connors and John Payne were tall leading men. Payne stood 6'4" and Connors stood 6'5".
