A wounded man makes Micah return to the bottle.

This episode turned out much better than expected. It all begins when Lucas finds a badly wounded man and takes him to Doc Burrage (this time played by Rhys Williams). When Micah looks at the man he claims that he does not know him but the viewer can tell that Micah and the man has a history.

When some so-called lawmen come into North Fork to capture a wanted man they find the man, John Stoddard, is the same person that Lucas found wounded. The three renegade lawmen want Stoddard immediately but has to be handily told by Lucas that they will have to wait. Along the way we will find out why Micah feels so much hatred for Stoddard. Whatever the reason, it makes Micah return to the bottle that nearly killed him.

Was not expecting too much from this storyline. However was very pleased at the results. A nice story that was backed-up with good acting. Good watch.

Great Backstory For Micah

A strong episode at the end of season one with one of Paul Fix's best monologues of the series. Story idea by Chuck Connors (which was reworked into a later episode where John Anderson appears as Mark's grandfather).

Richard Devon is impressive as the leader of a "People's Committee" bent on taking their prisoner out of North Fork.
