Can't there ever be realism?

Warning: Spoilers
This show came out in 1975, 2 years after I graduated the academy. First, you could not wear you hair down for obvious reasons. It had to be off the nape of your neck unless you wanted a suspect to grab it and knock your head on the pavement. Next, by the time this show came out, field officers had uniforms with trousers. Hard to jump a fence in a tight skirt.

Danko gets a female partner for the first time
pkfloydmh30 September 2021
This one is about a female officer who is partnered with Danko after her regular partner is killed in the line of duty, which some officers blame her for. She and Danko then pursue some jewel thieves.

This is an okay episode but nothing great. The problem is Susanne Benton just isn't a very good actor as she speaks in a monotone and mumbles and lacks any excitement, so all of the scenes involving her are weak and the whole story line about her being blamed for her partner's death just didn't make any sense. However, when the focus is on the jewel thieves and not Susanne Benton, the show is pretty good, but that's only about a third of the show.

There's a good action scene at the beginning and a nice chase and shootout at the end.

So a split decision here. The action scenes and the scenes involving the jewel thieves are good, but the ones involving Susanne Benton are not, which means I end up right down the middle on this one.
