A cop with a death wish
pkfloydmh6 September 2021
This one is about a suicidal cop possibly being bribed by some bandits who are hijacking gasoline tankers.

This is an intense and exciting episode with a compelling plot and lots of action.

Jeremy Slate's performance as the troubled cop is top-notch and Alex Rocco is excellent as usual. You knew right off the bat this episode was going to be good when Rocco appeared in the opening scene.

There's a noticeable quality improvement this season as compared to the first two seasons, with better writing and better scripts and more chases, shootouts and fights. The show has also benefited immensely from the departure of the dreadful Michael Ontkean, whose acting was atrocious and hair was never combed. He always looked like he had just gotten out of bed and it's too bad he didn't STAY in bed for the first two seasons so we could have been spared from the agony of watching him act. That clown was the weak part of the show and I never took him seriously and it's great to see that imbecile gone.

This is the third straight outstanding episode to start season three. The show has improved considerably from the first two seasons.
