Another assassin is on the loose
pkfloydmh17 September 2021
This one is about an assassin who is targeting a gambling commission official. The assassin is played by Eric Braeden.

This is an okay episode with a nice mystery and an unexpected twist but not a lot of action. It's now the sixth episode this season dealing with assassins but it's not as good as the other ones.

Owens is the focus here and it was a rough outing for him - he crashed his motorcycle twice, had his head grazed by an assassin's bullet and tripped over a bicycle and hit his head on the floor. He also experiences amnesia because of the assassin's bullet but is gradually able to regain his memory.

Jill has a couple of scenes in the hospital as she tends to Owens after one of his motorcycle crashes.

The action scene at the end is okay but nothing exceptional and seemed rushed as the assassin gave up fairly quickly without much of a fight. Prior to this, the only other action is a brief car chase as most of the episode focuses on Owens and his attempts to unravel the mystery of who the assassin is and who his target is.

This is a mediocre episode and is not one of the better episodes of the season as there isn't much intensity or excitement due to the lack of action scenes. There's also no mystery regarding the identity of the assassin or who his target is since both are revealed in the opening scene. The only mystery is where will the hit take place and can the rookies stop him in time. So not a terrible episode but not great either but just average.
