Ryker and his men ambush a house with escaped cons. Mike shoots and kills a man there with no criminal record, he tries to comfort the man's wife and son.
Not one of the best episodes but an interesting idea. Jill is suspicious when Mike spends so much time with the widow, played by Darleen Carr, her second appearance in the series. There are a few twists to the story when one of the cons goes after Mike and the widow. It ends with a wild shootout in the Rose Bowl.
