- Working on the construction of the Glen Canyon Dam in Arizona, Tod and Buz are given the unusual temporary assignment of being the bodyguards for four models doing a fashion photo shoot at the construction site. Their chaperon, Jo Galloway, needs a bodyguard of her own as a beautiful woman, although she is one who seems to be able to take care of herself based on her outwardly cold demeanor. Despite the subjects Tod and Buz are protecting, the job is somewhat of an unenviable one because the primary job requirement is to be able to fight, namely fight off the one thousand or so lonely male construction workers who would clamor at the thought of getting to the girls if they knew the girls were around. As such, the girls are being housed in isolated trailers outside of Page, where there is nothing to do and nothing to see. But what may be more difficult for Tod and Buz than fighting off one thousand lonely men are dealing with: the boredom the girls face, primarily that of party girl Betsy; the fragile emotional state of Sue, who is facing a man problem of her own; and the dynamite that is the combination of Jo and the construction project manager Jeff Grady, the two who have a history which includes a tragic component.—Huggo
