Another solid story!

Another solid story! What I like about The Bravo Enigma is: A quick start surprise commando raid on beginning. Organized crime wants a senator gone and hires a international terrorist, which is a great story, which merges with another story with the terrorist having the plague. Hondo and company have two problems; Stop the assassination and a plague at the same time. Before hazmat the story is a bit dated ugh everyone would have been sick at the hospital. Enigma is well written and directed and acted. Predictably another formulated S W A T ending with Hondo fighting one on one with the terrorist Chuck Norris style. Hondo had a tainted win with the terrorist being sick. Well a memorable episode. The Bravo Enigma eight stars.

Decent...nothing more.

"The Bravo Enigma" is an odd episode of "S.W.A.T." because it's two entirely different plots shoved into one. Some unknown group is trying to assassinate a senator and the team's job is to prevent it. After thwarting one attempt, a hired assassin is brought in--but no one (including this killer) realizes that he's infected with the Pneumonic Plague!! So, it's not only a race against time to catch him before he snuffs the senator but also before he potentially infects thousands! This was a mostly enjoyable episode but it suffered from something that affected quite a few episodes--sloppy little errors and overcomplicated plots. When the killer needed a gun, where does he go to get one? He breaks into a military installation and steals one (and, a weapon that ISN'T a sniper weapon)! Then, during the climactic chase at the end, it's pretty obvious in some scenes that it's NOT the actor playing the killer but a double. Finally, at the end, you see the 'killer' (actually just a dummy) being pulled over a dam by a string! If I could see it on TV, I am sure others did back in 1975! Sloppy but entertaining enough not to be boring.
