"I Dream of Choo Choo Rabinowitz" finds Fred again regaling future grandson Roger (Edward Crawford) with tall tales of his daring youth, such as playing for the Harlem Globetrotters, which Lamont doesn't buy: "when I was dribbling with the Globetrotters, you were slam dunking in your diapers!" Nervous about meeting Janet's teacher mother, awarded for a paper on problem children, Fred paces the living room during Bubba's favorite movie - The Giant Baboon Who Ate Rangoon at Noon in June with a Spoon ("will you shut up soon?"). Bubba suggests calamity for his grandchildren: "they got a grandmother who writes papers, and a grandfather who collects them!" The Guinness Book of World Records inspires Fred to try to break the record for staying awake held by Choo Choo Rabinowitz. Marlene Clark makes the third of six appearances as Janet, Leonard Stone had earlier appeared in "The Copper Caper," and Royce Wallace was a veteran of "Here Comes the Bride, There Goes the Bride."
