"The Hawaiian Connection" concludes with a lengthy chase through Honolulu, Sanford and Son being pursued by jewel robbery masterminds Davis (Sheldon Leonard) and Freddy Wills (Greg Morris), who have stashed their haul in Fred's luggage (we get the expected cameo from local legend Don Ho, singing "Beer Barrel Polka"). The culprits are eventually apprehended and the return flight finds hatchet faced Fritzi Burr (eighth of ten) again on board, and co-pilot Frank Nelson (fourth of six) offering greetings to 'Wilbur and Orville' ("that's Wright!"). The diamonds finally show up back in Los Angeles, where Officer Smitty (Hal Williams) takes them into custody, accompanied by one time only partner Percy (Pat Paulsen, who hasn't much to do).
