Reminds me of Mission Impossible
VetteRanger27 February 2023
Did the writers take this idea of the brainwashing used in this episode directly from Mission Impossible? Mission Impossible had an episode where Barney was subjected to a similar process where a series of images displayed rapidly while under the influence of a drug. It worked on Barney, and the team had to interrupt his assassination attempt and then deprogram him.

The same thing happens in this episode to Lee Stetson ... after another employee at his agency is brainwashed but fails to carry out his assignment. After Lee subdues him, the man is put in the hospital in a catatonic state and later murdered lest he come to and spill the beans. In the meantime, the bad guys, who happen to be in the agency, get their hooks into lee and program him to assassination Billy Melrose. Can Mrs. King figure out what's going on and stop him?
