As the title of this "Shaft" ep implies, a man at night is killed by a running car. A young man is arrested but his father thinks he's innocent so he hires Shaft. There's also a casino owner involved. He's played by Tony Curtis. I'll stop there and just say while this was another pretty enjoyable ep of the "Shaft" TV show, the network restrictions concerning content (such as when John is about make love to a woman) makes this one of the more blander ones. Still, Curtis is enjoyable whenever he and Richard Roundtree are in a scene together. So for any Shaft completists, I say give "Shaft: Hit-Run" a look.
