Episode 39 begins with Burt trying to end his relationship with Sally,but she refuses to go quietly,threatening to "get" him.Visiting Eunice and Dutch at their farmhouse,Jessica,Benson,and Billy are forced to pose as the owners(a neurosurgeon with wife and son),arousing the suspicions of a nosy policeman(Richard Stahl),who warns them about Dutch.Danny mourns for Elaine,but perks up at the thought of going after her two kidnappers armed with a gun,with Burt tagging along to keep him safe.Detective Donohue reports Chester's death,seen boarding a train before it later crashed,with his clothes and wallet found aboard.What they don't know is that Chester is still alive,in Toledo,dressed as a derelict because he'd been jumped and had his wallet and clothes stolen by the man who pushed him off the train.He regains his memory,only to have a fellow hobo(G.W.Bailey)knock him out to steal his expensive watch,again leaving him an amnesiac.

Dutch and Eunice invite Jessica, Benson and Billy to dinner, Danny is struggling to come to terms with Elaine's death, and Burt finally tells Sally that their romantic liaison is now over. Detective Donohue has some important news for Jessica.

It's another wonderful mix of funny and sad, this awesome show continues to impress.

Jessica, Benson and Billy playing happy families was a joyous moment, and that exchange with The Policeman about Candy and Randy was side splitting.

Benson at his absolute best here, what a truly wonderful performer, his comic tuning was awesome, his reluctance to answer the front door is becoming one of the highlights of the show.

It's a shame we didn't get to see the funeral, that could have been an interesting scene.

Please don't let this be the end for Chester, we need him back asap, he has to come back.
